On the Issues:

Safe Streets

Safe streets, such as East Carson Street, Forbes Avenue, and Michigan Avenue, are essential for fostering vibrant and thriving communities. When pedestrians feel secure from traffic hazards and violence, local businesses flourish, and public spaces become more welcoming. Well-lit, well-patrolled, and pedestrian-friendly streets encourage foot traffic, support local economies, and strengthen neighborhood connections. Prioritizing safety on these key streets ensures that residents and visitors alike can enjoy their surroundings without fear, contributing to a stronger, more inclusive urban environment.

Clean Neighborhoods

Residents of Pittsburgh deserve to live in the cleanest City in the world. A city full of trash is not just unsightly, it is detrimental to the health outcomes of our neighbors. Bob will prioritize both public and private solutions to cleaning up Pittsburgh.

Bob will continue his work streamlining enforcement of waste issues, introduce legislation to simplify real estate transfers to get vacant properties turned into homes, and increase investments in senior housing throughout District 3. Bob will also make sure that our Public Works Department has all of the tools and manpower it needs to keep our neighborhoods free from blight.

Vibrant
Communities

Pittsburgh neighborhoods are strongest when they reflect the people who live in them. That means supporting the characters who make each block unique and making sure every neighborhood has something to offer. Bob cares deeply about both the neighbors who live here now and the ones who will live here in the future.

Bob will fight for housing of all types—from apartments to family homes to senior living—and for neighborhoods where people can not only live, but enjoy their lives. That means more places to gather, shop, eat, and connect. Whether it’s a busy main street or a quiet residential block, Bob is committed to making sure every part of District 3 has something going on and a reason to stick around.

“The lesson my family taught me still holds true—
no job is too tough when everyone pitches in. I’m ready to keep pitching in alongside you as your City Council representative.”
